A little understanding makes the next move clearer.

01 / Goal & rules

  1. Place exactly one queen in each row, column and numbered color region.
  2. Queens cannot touch, including diagonally. Distant diagonal alignment is allowed: this is not the chess queen attack rule.
  3. Easy uses 5×5, normal 6×6 and hard 8×8. Any layout satisfying all constraints is accepted.

02 / Controls & guided practice

  1. Tap a square to place or remove a queen. Selecting another square in the same row moves its queen.
  2. Use arrows to focus, Space or Enter to toggle. Conflicting queens are highlighted.

03 / How scoring works

  1. A legal completed layout scores max(0, 100,000 − moves×150). Unfinished layouts score 0.

Time is informational and is not part of this score formula. Scores are derived from game state; different games use different scales.

04 / A thought for your next move

  1. Inspect small regions with few candidate squares first.
  2. After placing a queen, check its column and neighboring squares in adjacent rows.

Does the guided lesson affect my records?

No. Try this move uses a separate practice board, excluded from records, daily completion and rankings. Your current round is preserved.

How do daily and practice modes differ?

Daily boards are shared for the same game and difficulty, resetting at midnight in Korea. Practice lets you start fresh boards.

Where are my scores kept?

In this browser on this device. A nickname is optional and is not automatically uploaded. Global rankings are unavailable until a server is connected.
