Your first mine, step by step
From manual mining to the first worker
- Open the beta and use the mining button to collect iron.
- Open Goals and claim the first mission reward. Rewards need to be claimed.
- Use Workers & Improvements to improve your tool. Claim the next reward.
- Hire your first miner. Production will now continue while you are away.
A disabled action usually needs resources, credits or an earlier mission. Read the condition shown beside the button.
Workers, capacity and equipment
Workers can mine, haul or survey when the relevant features unlock. More miners do not help much if haul or storage capacity is already full. Check these limits before hiring again.
Equipment builds take time. Current equipment stays visible until the new build finishes. Completing the build updates the worker protection and drilling equipment together. Depth limits can stop exploration while existing veins continue producing.
Workshops and a first rocket
Use the workshop to queue refining, research and construction. These lanes are separate. Prepare the six rocket parts and the other departure conditions shown in the Rocket panel. A preview of the launch does not start a real journey.
On Mars, install the settlement kit before mining. Earth continues producing, and you can arrange shipments between mines.
Protecting your local save
- Open Save & Settings at the top of the game.
- Choose Export backup and keep the JSON file.
- To restore, choose Import backup and select the file. Current progress is kept in a recovery slot before replacement.
A backup is useful but does not guarantee compatibility across all beta updates. Clearing browser data removes the local save. Account-based cloud syncing is not provided.
Reading the scene on mobile
Scroll the mine sideways on a small screen or use Zoom. Hide markers removes scene shortcuts while the bottom menus remain. Motion can be paused or enabled from the toolbar.
Use a recent Chrome or Edge browser. Opening another tab for the same save makes the additional tab read-only to prevent conflicting writes.
