Random Pickers & Team Tools
Picking a winner, assigning roles and forming teams produce different results. Choose the operation before entering a participant list.
Wheel, ladder or teams?
| Situation | Operation | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Choose winners | Wheel | The number of winners you specify |
| Assign a role to every person | Ladder | One outcome for each participant |
| Create groups | Team maker | Teams and constraint checks |
Try a role assignment
Enter Sample A, Sample B and Sample C on separate lines and choose Ladder. Enter Present, Notes and Host on separate lines as outcomes. Match the outcome count to the participant count, then run the draw.
Random results vary with each run. The sample does not promise a particular assignment. Use distinct labels for people with the same name.
Use together and apart rules
Six fictional participants in two teams gives three per team. Separate two names with | for a together pair. Putting that same pair in the apart field conflicts and requires a correction.
Review balance and rule checks. After manually editing a team, validate it again. This tool does not provide certified draws or an audit service.
Examples use fictional inputs. Tool inputs are processed in your browser.
